End of year competition

Some members (including me) are unable to access the section that allows images to be uploaded for competitions.

If you are able to access the upload page, go ahead and upload your end of year entries.

If you unable to see the upload buttons, send me an email mail@mikeoc.com and let me know.

I am in contact with the system developer and he is chasing down the problem.

In the meantime I have extended the deadline for the EOY comp to Sunday night. If necessary I’ll extend it further.

Astro Workshop – Light Trails Thur 2 Oct

Expressions of interest called for a possible light trails workshop before daylight saving starts. You will need to already have some Astro experience and an intervalometer for this session. Email: mandgblack@gmail.com if you are keen to attend.

September Activity – Macro BBQ

The September club activity will be a GATHERING AT GOODAY’S place on SATURDAY 21 SEPTEMBER where we will commence with tea and coffee at 10.00am followed by practical sessions on subjects related to macro photography and photo stacking.

Bring your camera, tripod,macro lens, lighting diffusers etc if you have them.

Otherwise, a standard, or telephoto lens will do. We will have several lightboxes on hand for indoor macro photography and photo stacking.

Lunch at about 1.00pm will take the form of a BBQ – meat and salad etc provided – please BYOG.

To help us better plan activities and cater for lunch please advise Bruce by Wednesday 18 September if you will be attending.
